Made it Shop Open!!!

Well i've finally had a chance to open my Made It shop this weekend! hooray! i'm excited, but it can really be a little daunting! I'm starting with just posting a few cards, and will slowly build it up over the next week or so. I hope it all goes well, so head over HERE and take a look around!

Handmade bags...

A few weeks a go a shared a gorgeously delicious looking picture of my new fabric stash i received in the mail. Since then orders have been flooding in and i haven't had a chance to even look in the direction of my material box!

Im sure many of you would find this, and its funny because i spend a lot of time sewing various projects/filling orders, though i don't often take the time to sit and make anything for myself. So the other day i decided to change this, and as i was in desperate need of a new handbag, i made my first project with that fabulous material!

so with the help of a fabulous pattern from the talented Made by Rae with a few alterations, this was the result...

Nothing like a handmade gift....

Hi There!

Well i took a break from ivory, gold and cream colours today to hit the sewing machine to whip up a handmade gift for my fabulous aunty who is celebrating her 60th birthday.

Now this lady is the queen of handbags, every time i see her she has a new type of bag - ones that she has collected from her various travels. So i thought might make her a JK Creations one-of-a-kind. Check it out...

Love is in the air.....

Over the new year my gorgeous hubby was generous enough to share his downstairs office space with me in order the make me a proper 'studio' for my my ever-growing stash of paper and fabric! Between moving all my gear (and believe me, there is a LOT!), school holidays, sewing up a storm of gifts and a few sewing request from my sis-in-law, this is really the first chance i've had to get the studio and do some cards.

Just in time for valentines day i managed to whip up goodies to send out to my various outlets....
